Judge Shepherd frequently consults with lawyers in other law firms over unusual or troublesome issues in their cases and make limited appearances with them on particular matters.  He has been consulted in all manner of cases ranging from complex commercial cases to insurance coverage, negligence, bad faith, wrongful death, probate, trusts and estates, real estate, trademark, and trade secret litigation.  Judge Shepherd is also frequently called upon to review fee invoices of other law firms and testify as an expert in the area of attorneys’ fees and costs.
